Human nature expects gratitude

Though spirits long back renewed

Overlooking goals to be pursued
(I'll keep track of them soon..)
To words and phrases glued
(I enjoy sometimes, you see..)
Sudden new face does protrude
(I don't bother, I don't see..)
Leaving me again to feel seclude
(I'll find substitutes..)
Scorned and silenced child within
(I always remember..)
Ignores the sight to keep cheery mood
(I've promised myself deep sleep tonight..)
